What is AutoGineer?

A marketplace where businesses hire vetted AI-automation experts, protected by escrow on every engagement.

AutoGineer is a marketplace for AI automation. Businesses come here to get workflows built — connecting their apps, removing repetitive work, shipping AI features — and automation experts come here to sell that skill and get paid without chasing invoices. The platform sits between the two and holds the money until the work is approved.

It is tool-agnostic. Work happens in n8n, Make, Zapier, and custom code, and there is a library of ready-made workflow templates you can hire someone to adapt. The template library is a starting point, not the product — the product is the engagement that follows it.

Who it is for

Clients

  • Founders and operators who need automation built without hiring in-house.
  • Teams with a tool stack that does not talk to itself.
  • Anyone who found a template that nearly fits and needs it finished properly.

Experts

  • Automation specialists working in n8n, Make, Zapier, or code.
  • Freelancers who want the payment side handled and enforceable.
  • Builders who want their templates to generate inbound work.
One account does both. Many of the best experts here started as clients, and hiring while you sell is normal, not a conflict.

What makes it safe

Hiring a stranger to touch your business systems is a real risk, and so is building for a stranger who might not pay. Four mechanisms address that, and they are worth understanding because they are the reason the marketplace works at all.

  • Escrow: the client’s payment leaves their card before work starts and reaches the expert only for approved work.
  • Vetting: experts are reviewed by a person and complete identity verification before they can be hired.
  • Screening: public posts, listings, and attachments are checked against the content policy as they are created.
  • Disputes: when two reasonable people disagree, there is a process that reads the record and decides.

You

  • Web app (Next.js, server-rendered)
  • Mobile app (React Native)

Platform API

  • Authentication, 2FA and sessions
  • Marketplace: jobs, proposals, services, offers
  • Projects: milestones, deliverables, messages
  • Escrow orchestration and dispute decisions
  • Moderation and audit logging

Data

  • Application database
  • File storage for deliverables
  • Real-time channel for live updates

Money and identity — never stored by us

  • Stripe Checkout — card details go straight from your browser
  • Stripe — holds funded amounts until release
  • Stripe Identity — receives your ID document, we get only the result
  • Stripe Connect — pays Experts to their own bank
Two clients, one API, and the deliberate choice to keep card numbers and identity documents outside our systems entirely — they go straight from your browser to Stripe.
