Every paid engagement follows this shape, whether it started as a posted job, a packaged service, or a custom offer.

Ordering a packaged Service skips the proposal and selection steps, because the Expert published the price and scope in advance.

Hosted checkout. We never see the card.

Platform fee deducted. Balance is the Expert’s.

The Client pays once, up front. The money sits with the payment processor until the Client approves the work — that is what protects both sides. Nothing reaches the Expert before approval, and nothing leaves the Client after it.
